The Vancouver School Board obstructed a freedom of information request from a journalist with student newspaper The Griffins’ Nest at Eric Hamber Secondary School.

Media organizations including the CBC, BBC, CNN and Bloomberg were forced to pause reporting in Russia after a new law threatened to jail anyone publishing what the government described as “false information” about the war in Ukraine.

Osoyoos RCMP said they were investigating an assault on Yasmin Gandham —  then a reporter for Global Okanagan — who says a protester spat on her while she was covering a convoy rally in Osoyoos, B.C., reported Global News.
