Extremist group members stalk journalist

Members of a group chat dedicated to extremist group Diagolon stalked journalist Rachel Gilmore, taking photos of her walking and sharing her real-time location.

An unidentified person took a photo of Gilmore walking on a sidewalk in Ottawa. Gilmore later posted a screenshot on Twitter (currently called X) of a WhatsApp group chat where someone had shared the photo. In the screenshot, members can be seen discussing the photo using sexist insults. One message mentions the area where she was photographed. 

A second person later shared a video on Twitter which shows Gilmore walking a few blocks away from where the first photo was taken. 

Far-right supporters responded to the incident with sexist, abusive tweets and other online posts targeting Gilmore.
