    SLAPP lawsuit against the Globe and Mail dismissed

    The Ontario Superior Court dismissed a lawsuit filed against the Globe and Mail, Globe journalist Robert Fife and journalist Sam Cooper by former Ontario Liberal MPP and cabinet minister Michael Chan.

    Alberta ministry blacklists CityNews Calgary

    In a post on social media, the press secretary for Alberta’s Ministry of Education and Childcare said that the ministry would “not engage” with any journalists from CityNews, in response to an article from the broadcaster’s Calgary bureau.
