Two people spat on a Winnipeg Free Press journalist at a protest against COVID-19 health measures in Winnipeg on May 28, 2021.

People in the crowd of about 100 directed their anger at journalists covering the event, calling them “pedophiles” and yelling slurs, reported the Free Press.
