Shots fired at Brampton home of radio and TV host
Gunshots were fired at the Brampton, Ont. home of Joginder Bassi, host of the radio and TV show Gaunda Punjab.
A video posted on Twitter shows bullet holes in the windows of a car parked in a driveway at the scene. No one was injured in the shooting, according to Peel Regional Police.
In a second violent attack on a Brampton-based media worker, three men attacked radio host Deepak Punj outside his studio in Brampton, Ont. on Feb. 23, 2022, days after Punj had denounced anti-India protesters.
